Vasi is a winner of the Kahn
Career award for exceptional talent,
Vasi's costume designs have been predominantly commissioned for theatre pieces by the award-winning director Blanka Zizka.
Recent productions include:
Heroes of the Fourth Turning, Describe the Night, Romeo and Juliet, There, Passages, Passing Strange, Hard Problem by Tom Stoppard/US premier, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead Hamlet, When The Rain Stops Falling, Don Juan Comes Home From Iraq by Paula Vogel, Leaving by Václav Havel, with Oscar-nominated actor David Russell Strathairn.(The Wilma Theatre). Daughters of The Moon, (Edinburgh FRINGE Festival), Cosi Fan Tutte (Huntington Theater) Venus, Necessary Targets, Godspell, La Lorona (The Beckett Theatre), The Magic Flute (Film, NYC),etc.
Her career has spanned from fashion design, costume design and visual art production for global brands such as Zaha Hadid Architects & Mr.Patrik Schumacher,VPL (Visible Panty Line), CK (Calvin Klein).
Her theatrical fabric art and painting have been featured on major Broadway shows, such as; The Lion King, Wicked, Spamelot, Dracula.
Disney: Finding Nimo, Monsters, INC., Aladdin, etc.​
Her illustrations commissioned by luxury skincare and cosmetic brands Estee Laude, Estee Lauder, Cinique, Darphin.

Vasi’s designs and illustration have been published in leading publications,The Big Book of Contemporary Illustration by Sir Martin Dawber, and Fashion Drawing by Michele Bryant.

Her fine art pieces based on fashion illustration are exhibited in Milan, London, Belgrade and NYC.
​
She is also a Professor at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) for the MFA program, in addition she holds a professor position at Parsons School of Design;The New School, New York City, USA and Paris, France.
VASI graduated with highest honors from Boston University receiving MFA in Design and BFA in Fashion & Costume Design from University of Fine Art & Design in Belgrade.
